I was born in 1972, one of twin girls, and grew up with 11 siblings in South-West London. My loving father (now deceased) was a hardworking accountant, and my mother a caring housewife. My childhood is filled with the happiest memories and I will always be grateful for the support and guidance of my family in everything I choose to do.

After completing my degree in Business Studies in 1995, I immediately sat the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) exam to gain the Diploma in Marketing.
I started off working as a temp in investment banking. A year later, I secured a permanent position with an international law firm working as a Marketing Assistant. During my first year there, I completed a Masters (in Marketing), by attending evening classes at Kingston University. Five years later, I completed a second Masters (in Secure Electronic Commerce) at Royal Holloway University of London. I also became a Chartered Marketer by fulfilling CIMs requirements and completing CPD points. After seven years with the law firm, I left and decided to set up my own business.

My parents were awarded the title of UK record holders "for having the most degrees in a single family" in 2000 by Guinness World Records.

I piloted and ran AWA (A Working Attitude), a club for kids aged between 13-19, over the summer months. We ran a structured programme, including weekly self defence classes, presentations from guest speakers talking about their careers and offered workshops on a variety of topics. After conducting extensive market research, AWA was formed to give kids an evironment where they could experience the benefits in having a working attitude. |
